The KC Sea Sprites is  a competitive Synchronized swimming team coached by Marilyn Deister for over 50 years.  It is the oldest team in the United States under continuous coaching.  Both assistant coaches, Linda Meyer Gilliam and Valerie Duff are former team members. The team performs at 2-6 meets and 2-3 shows a year. They have three locations for practice covering the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  They are the only USSS registered team in the Kansas City Missouri or Kansas City Kansas vicinity.
